Pride Parade
June 27 2026

A march down the historic Ocean City boardwalk,
rainbow flags flying high.

For all in and allied with the queer community.

The Ocean City Pride Parade is a free, all-ages event open to anyone who wants to show support for or celebrate with the queer community.

It meets at the inlet parking lot near the fishing pier at 10am to congregate, and begin the walk by 10:30am. We march around the pier, up the boardwalk to 2nd street, and back to the meeting place. The walk will take approximately 30-45mins; we are generally finished by 11:30am.

There will be tables set up at the meeting place from our partners and sponsors with free merchandise, information about partner programs, and more, plus our OC Pride merch for sale; if you would like to table, please email ocmdpride@gmail.com.

QUESTIONS

Is the route ADA accessible? Can I ride a bike or drive?
Yes, it is accessible! Bikes are not permitted on the boardwalk after 10am, and cars are not permitted.

What should I wear?
Anything you want! (Just no nudity.) We suggest shoes you are comfortable walking a mile in, and your best Pride-representing apparel. We will have shirts for purchase as well.

Are there performances/can I perform?
Unfortunately, there is no entertainment per our event permit, but we will have our trusty speaker for music :)

I’d like to volunteer!
Awesome! Email us at ocmdpride@gmail.com

What happens after the walk?
Head to one of our sponsor partners for discount food & drinks: Sunrise Diner, Casita Linda, Real Raw Organics, or The Coconut Club.

Then hit The Buzzed Word, our OC Pride headquarters, for daytime shopping—OR our evening Pride Party at 5pm! For more information on that, see below. They will have special drinks (nonalcoholic and alcoholic) for participants, tons of Pride goodies, and of course, books.

Pride Party

No fuss, but all the fun.
Come one & all to
The Buzzed Word on 6/27 from 5-8pm for a gay soirée to cap off our day of celebrations. No dress code, no need to RSVP, and not 21+, it’s an open invite to mix and mingle (and probably dance a lil’) with your local queer community.

Co-hosted by Miss Mann, it’s replacing the Pride Prom this year for a more low-key but high-vibe event. We’ll have a photo wall, queens to get the energy up,  both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks and food available for purchase, and a welcoming space to hang out with friends new and old and celebrate all things Pride. Wear what you like— full gowns and glitter are always welcome, but so is being fully casual. Those under 21 are welcome; those who are of legal age and want to consume alcohol must have a valid 21+ ID. More questions? Send us a message!

Launched in 2023,

the Ocean City Pride Parade was a symbolic celebration. The first Pride march in town, and on the iconic boardwalk, it was a tremendous success with over 300 participants—helping show that ALL are welcome in this beach town, and that there is space for the queer community to gather, celebrate, and be ourselves here.
